The AETF has the capability to assist Colombia governmental agencies and the private sector in developing strategic plans for climate adaptation and environmental restoration using modern technologies for monitoring and evaluating progress in environmental protection and preservation.  We can design and implement projects using proven technologies to determine needs for restorative efforts and the success of policies and programs deployed to protect the environment.  The AETF has experience in policy formulation to assist agencies in the design of strategies to respond to public aspirations for environmental management.

Specific projects that the AETF can accomplish include designing and building water monitoring systems, designing strategies for reforestation, developing systems to monitor and evaluate land use, assessing the impact of destructive activities that endanger the environment, and organizational development for industry and government to create and train staff to accomplish Colombia objectives for environmental protections.

The AETF work effort takes into account the need to provide equitable and inclusive solutions that recognize the importance of engaging indigenous people in projects that affect them.
